This aquarium water polishing filter pad is constructed of durable woven polyester fibers for exceptional strength. At only 1/8 inch thick, it is powerful and clears water fast by truly trapping extra fine particles that pass through mechanical filter pads. For even more clear water, place our Water Polishing filter pad after our FilterFirst filter pad.

Since filter pads need to be replaced on a regular basis, a cardboard template can be made from your existing filter. Use a sharp pair of scissors to easily cut the aquarium water polisher pad to your desired shape and size. Place the polishing aquarium filter pad AFTER your aquarium mechanical filter pad to trap the extremely fine particles after your pre-filter media traps larger debris. Changing aquarium filter pads regularly will increase water quality.

Polishing Pads are ideal for canister filters, HOB filters, wet/dry, and sump filters for aquariums. This filter media aquarium filter pad works perfectly in a reef tank, tropical aquariums, African cichlid tanks, live planted tanks, amphibian tanks, shrimp tanks and even goldfish tanks.

Our 100 Micron Polishing Filter Pads' dense fiber network traps large to very fine particles floating in your freshwater or saltwater aquarium to produce sparkling clear water. Its durable design allows this pad to be cleaned and reused many times.

This 24 inch by 36 inch by 1/8 inch thick filter pad can easily be cut to size and will save you even more money over purchasing ready-made pre-cut filter media. Our polishing pad can be used in wet/dry filters, sumps, aquaponics systems, and much more.

Place our polishing pad in the path of flowing water to trap large and fine floating particulates. This filter pad is very efficient at trapping very fine particles so regular cleaning of the pad is necessary. It may be used alone or layered with other filter pads such as our Classic or Premium filter pads to extend cleaning time.
