Recommended for aquariums up to 100 gallons, this filter cycles water at 265 Gallons per Hour and is compatible with both freshwater and saltwater fish tanks, as well as turtle habitats.

This Canister Filter features state-of-the-art design elements, including a push button primer that allows for a simple and quick prime, and two independent valve taps that rotate 360°, making it easy to maneuver even in the tightest aquarium cabinets. The 3 stackable, large capacity media baskets give aquarists the ability to customize their filtration.

The filter media included with the Cascade 1000 Canister Filter is designed to optimize the colonization of anaerobic bacteria, trap floating particulate matter, remove harmful chemicals and toxins, clear up discolorations, and reduce foul odors from the aquarium's water. The standard media includes 1 Coarse Bio-Sponge, 3 Poly Fiber Floss Pads, and 1 Bag of Activated Carbon.
