Its dual-chamber, refillable media chambers house carbon or customizable filter media. The filter includes Marineland Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon and a Marineland Rite-Size JH Floss Sleeve. The filter media should be replaced every two to four weeks (replacement filters sold separately), and the micron cartridge should be cleaned monthly.
